Yes — Wedding Belles is appointment only. We don’t allow browsing while appointments are taking place, so every bride gets a private suite and the stylist’s undivided attention from the moment they arrive. Walk-ins are welcome for a quick chat about your plans, but to try on dresses you’ll need to book ahead.
You can book online at weddingbellesbridal.co.uk/contact or call us on 0121 323 4033. Saturdays book up quickly — we recommend booking 2 to 4 weeks ahead for a weekend slot. A waitlist option is available if your preferred date is full.
Choosing your wedding dress should feel exciting, relaxed and unforgettable, so we offer two appointment experiences for your very first visit.
Belles & Brides is our complimentary luxury bridal appointment. You’ll enjoy up to 2 hours with your own expert bridal stylist, exclusive use of one of our beautiful bridal suites, and can bring up to 4 guests to share the experience. Our licensed bar is available throughout your appointment offering fizz, cocktails or hot drinks, and if you find the one, we’ll celebrate with a complimentary glass of fizz and a special goody bag just for you!
If you’re looking to make your “Yes!” moment even more memorable, our Belles & Bubbles luxury appointment is the perfect choice. For £40, you’ll enjoy everything included in our Belles & Brides experience, plus a bottle of fizz to enjoy throughout your appointment, our famous confetti cannon moment, photos beneath our beautiful seasonal floral arch, and a gift from our Wedding Belles merchandise collection when you say yes.
Both appointment experiences are available throughout the week and on Saturdays. Whichever you choose, our goal is the same – to give you a relaxed, personal and unforgettable bridal experience while helping you find the dress you’ve always dreamed of.
Our Belles & Brides appointments are 1.5 to 2 hours. Our Belles & Bubbles appointments are 2 hours. Prefit appointments (when your dress arrives in store) are 45 minutes to 1 hour. Accessory styling appointments are 45 minutes.
Bring the people whose opinion matters most — but keep the group small. Brides with a smaller, trusted group almost always have a better experience. It helps to have a conversation with your guests beforehand about your style, so everyone’s on the same page when you arrive.
As we are a licensed premises with a bar available, we kindly ask that children under the age of 10 do not attend bridal appointments. Nursing babies are always, of course, very welcome.
Our bridal suites are designed to comfortably accommodate brides and their guests, so unfortunately we aren’t able to accommodate pushchairs within the boutique due to the limited space available.
We also kindly ask all guests to be mindful that every bride deserves the opportunity to enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime experience in a calm, relaxed environment. Thank you so much for your understanding – it helps us create the magical experience we’re known for.
Yes! There is parking available nearby.
We’re located within a parade of shops, so you’re very welcome to park in the spaces directly outside the boutique. These can get quite busy, particularly on Saturdays, so if you can’t find a space when you arrive, we recommend using the pay-and-display car park at The Crown pub, which is just a 2-minute walk away.
We always recommend allowing a few extra minutes before your appointment, especially at weekends, so you can arrive feeling relaxed and ready to enjoy your bridal experience.
Our Floral and Eden suites are on the ground floor. Our Meadow Suite is on the first floor and is accessed via stairs only. If you have accessibility requirements, please let us know when booking and we’ll make sure your appointment is in a ground floor suite.
There’s no single right answer — some brides start two years before their wedding, others come to us six months out. As a guide, ordering around 12 months before your wedding date allows enough time for the dress to be made (typically six to nine months) and for two or three fittings afterwards. Don’t wait if you feel ready — brides often find their dress sooner than they expect.
Don’t worry — there are still good options. Several of our designers offer priority or instant stock on new collection gowns, which can significantly reduce lead times. Our sister boutique The Bridal Outlet Birmingham also has a beautiful selection of off-the-peg gowns available immediately, mostly priced under £1,200. Our collection is available in sizes 6 to 28. Our stylists are experienced in working with all shapes and will guide you towards silhouettes that genuinely work for you.
Wedding dresses at Wedding Belles range from approximately £1500-£4800. Prices on the website are guide prices and subject to change. Payment plans are available — please ask for details at your appointment. Our sister boutique The Bridal Outlet Birmingham has off-the-peg gowns starting from £495.
We stock Milla Nova, White & Lace by Milla Nova, Lorenzo Rossi by Milla Nova, Maggie Sottero, Sottero & Midgley, Essense of Australia, Stella York, Dama Couture, Madi Lane, Ivory Bridal, Arina Galagan, Jarice and our own collection Lottie & Meg. Our collection is carefully curated — Mel and Claire attend Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week and other international designer events to handpick what comes into the boutique each season.
Yes — Milla Nova is one of our most requested designers. Known for romantic silhouettes and contemporary detailing and popular with modern brides. We stock three of their labels – Milla Nova main collection, White & Lace by Milla and Milla by Lorenzo Rossi. All are available to try in our Sutton Coldfield boutique.

No need to prepare anything special. Most gowns have built-in support so a strapless bra often isn’t necessary. Nude or light-coloured underwear is a good idea for comfort, but beyond that — just come as you are.
Yes — your dedicated bridal stylist will be with you throughout and will help you into every gown, making sure each one is correctly fitted so you can see exactly how it looks and feels.

Once your dress is ordered, the typical production time is six to nine months depending on the designer. We’ll contact you as soon as it arrives in store and book you in for a prefit appointment, where you and up to 4 guests can come and see it for the first time — we’ll have a glass of fizz ready for the occasion.
Alteration costs are not included in the dress price and charged separately by your chosen seamstress. We have relationships with specialist seamstresses that we can recommend, however it is your choice and responsibility to book any alterations you may need. We will guide you through this process once you have chosen a dress.
